Next March 24 will be held the Day in memory of the missionary martyrs. This was because on 24 March 1980, in El Salvador, Monsignor Oscar A. Romero, Bishop of the city, was killed. It was thus decided to remember this kind of martyrdom annually. The memory goes to those who proclaimed the Gospel and lost their lives to do so.
